Magic Box Mid-Century Folding Desk

1960’s Magic Box Folding Desk. The exact origins of this particular example is not known. The earliest example is believed to be produced by the Wooten Desk Company (Indianapolis) in 1874. A modern version was later designed and produced by the Swiss architects Mummenthaler and Meir in 1928. There were further examples produced in the UK, Denmark, Germany in the 50’s and 60’s. This is a stunning example that is in excellent original condition. The desk folds away into a neat box and is lockable. Measurements Open – 1700 mm width x 720 mm depth x 1150 mm  height.
